SOHO STOREFRONT

This project involves the restoration of a historic storefront in SOHO. Built in 1903 by Bernsten & Berstein in the Renaissance Revival style. It went through several alterations through out the years, but it has managed to preserve the terracotta entablatures and details at the windows, and the copper cornice band above the storefronts. This project will restore the ground floor openings, while providing operable windows and completely rebuilding an old storefront that was removed some time during the 1940's. It is under going Landmark Preservation Commission revision and should be under construction in early 2021.
