RESTORATION OF GREENWICH VILLAGE HISTORIC FACADE

Reform architecture was hired to restore the damaged façade of a historic building in the Greenwich Village.

The existing façade had most of the brownstone detailing damaged, cracked and spalled. In addition,  the majority of the existing brick mortar was worn away allowing for water to penetrate and damage the façade even further. Our scope of work included surveying all exterior facades for damage, creating a report and proposing design strategy for restoration and repairs. This included a whole new stair bulkhead.
